A small wooden cabin with a snow-covered roof in a snowy, forested area with tall trees and a clear blue sky.

Daymark is an architectural practice dedicated to the art of dwelling. Based in Ontario, the studio crafts site-specific spaces defined by a quiet modernism and a deep respect for the raw materiality of the Canadian landscape. Each project is an exploration of harmony, with the goal of bridging the gap between inhabitant and environment to create enduring structures that respond to light, topography, and seasonal rhythms.

Forms in Context

Daymark’s architectural approach is a study in restraint and permanence. The studio utilizes a palette of honest materials like stone, wood, and steel that weather gracefully into their environment. By combining traditional building techniques with contemporary forms, Daymark creates sanctuaries that are as technically precise as they are poetically resonant.

The Tactile Interior

An interior should exist as a continuation of the landscape. Through a meticulous focus on materiality and soft forms, the studio composes spaces that evoke warmth and serenity. Every detail is an exploration of connectivity. This ensures a seamless experience from the rugged exterior to a refined, human-scale sanctuary within.

Moving Forward with Purpose

Work with purpose: with a narrowing focus I’ve taken a moment to reflect on what’s become important to me over the years and the driving force behind what motivates me in my architectural work with Daymark.
