BRACKENRIG COTTAGE

Description

Perched atop a rocky outcrop, nestled in the trees sits an existing seasonal cottage. This waterfront property on Lake Rosseau captures incredible vistas of Arthurlie Bay, drawing on this natural setting for inspiration the existing structure was reimagined with a new addition, full renovation and complete exterior update.

While the existing cabin has endured for years and seen multiple additions and renovations, large portions of the structure had succumbed to rot and disrepair and had to be demolished for safety concerns. Great effort to preserve existing foundations, living and primary bedroom sections were accomplished and a new 2 storey addition created to compliment and revitalize this dwelling for year round use.
